Dear parents & community members,

During the first half of a very busy Term 3, our students and staff have continued to work together, engaging in many outstanding learning opportunities – both within and outside the classroom.

Excursions to Darwin, Adelaide, Perth and Mistake Creek have supplemented classroom learning as reported in the Work Completion reports for Year 10 & 11 students, posted home on Friday 2 September. Please discuss these reports at home and contact Mentors & Teachers direct should you have any queries or concerns.

Year 12 students are completing Stage 2 courses, assessment tasks and commencing revision in preparation for Year 12 Trial Exams held during the first week of Term 4 (10 -14 October) and Year 12 (Stage 2) Final Exams soon after. All Year 12 students and their families are invited to our annual Big Lunch In activity on Friday 4 November, commencing 12 noon in the Year 12 Study Centre. This activity celebrates and showcases the learning and progress our Year 12 students have made over their three years at Centralian Senior College.

Students of all year levels are encouraged to achieve to the highest standard they can and access the great support available outside the classroom, to complete assessment tasks and homework, at the College Study & Enrichment / Homework Centre. Staffed by teachers and tutors, the Homework Centre operates 3-5pm, four afternoons a week, from Monday to Thursday, with afternoon tea and a bus ride home provided.
